Easy ways to remove tan

We all like the pleasant weather of summer holidays, but no one likes the heat of the sun. Exposure to sunlight not only causes skin irritation but also causes problems like dark spots and hyperpigmentation on the skin. Harmful UV radiation strips away the moisture of the skin and eventually makes it light and dull. So don't bother! Everything is the solution in treatment, and tanning is no exception. So here we have easy ways to remove tan:

 

Potato juice



This may surprise some people, but potatoes are rich in vitamin C and potassium. Potassium cherishes the skin while Vitamin C removes tan lines and makes the skin fair.

How to use: Wherever tan lines appear on your skin, to solve the problem, keep a few slices of peeled potatoes. The fresher the potato is, the more effective it will be in healing tan lines on your skin.

 

Oatmeal And Buttermilk For Tan Removal



Oatmeal has excellent exfoliating and skin cleansing properties. Buttermilk is rich in lactic acid which removes tan, softens skin and improves skin tone.

How to use: Soak 2 teaspoons of oats or oatmeal in half a cup of water for about five minutes. Mix with three tablespoons of fresh, plain buttermilk and mix well. You can also add honey to make the pack more moisturizing. To make a paste, mix these ingredients well and then apply it on your face, neck, arms and other areas which are affected by tanning.

 

Gram Flour and Turmeric



Gram flour does wonders for your skin. It is not only used to remove tan, but also has immense aesthetic benefits. It brightens your skin tone and  can also help to remove tanning from dark areas. It has anti-aging properties, which is a secret to a shiny appearance. It also ingest scum and evacuate dead skin layers.

How to use: You can get the final result by adding a pinch of turmeric to the gram flour pack. Turmeric removes tanning and lightens the skin tone. Take a bowl, add 3 tablespoons gram flour, 1 teaspoon olive oil and lemon juice. Add a pinch of turmeric powder to it. Mix all the ingredients and apply on the affected areas and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Wash it with lukewarm water. Do this treat two times a week for good results.

 

Papaya and Honey



Papaya is a common D-tan home remedy. It contains papain enzyme, which is known to lighten the skin while honey helps to keep the skin supple.

How to use: Mash a handful of papaya with honey and apply it on the face. Wash it after 15- 20 minutes.

 

Lemon Juice and Honey



With its acidic properties, lemon juice is a well-known way to lighten the skin.

How to use: Just mix with some honey and apply it on the tanned areas around your lines and wash away after 15-20 minutes. You will see that your tan lines fade in a few days. In addition, lemon juice is packed with vitamin C and honey is a great skin moisturizer, so you will reduce your tan lines while enhancing your epidermal health.
