According to research, human nails are strong like the hooves of a horse. But still, we keep breaking them! Nail breakage is a very common problem and can be caused by dryness, too much moisture, excessive use of nail polish remover, etc. Thankfully, there are a lot of simple natural remedies out there that can help you achieve a set of nails without going to a salon.

 

Olive oil 



Another fool proof  way to grow strong nails and to make your nails shiny is olive oil..

How to use: Massage your nails and cuticles for about five minutes on each hand. Ensure that the olive oil being used for this purpose is heated.


Rose Water



Rose water not only works to enhance mood but also works wonders for maintaining the pink of nails. Rose water is an antiseptic, antibacterial  and acts as an essential moisturizer. Close use of nail polish spoils the color of the nails - to maintain the natural shine of your nails.

How to use: Mix equal quantities of rose water and lemon juice and massage it on the nails.
